Located in a beautiful green park, La Butte aux Bois is a stylish hotel from 1924 with luxurious rooms and an elegant restaurant at the entrance of National Park Hoge Kempen.

What was the highlight of La Butte aux Bois
Wonderful for a weekend away.
Beautifully designed and maintained hotel with great facilities. The beds were nice and the room very sound proof. The park surrounding the hotel is lovely for walks. We enjoyed the free coffee and water.
Some things were too expensive - €25 for a pilates session and €45 for breakfast. The hotel is on lots of different levels and is not very accessible for those in wheelchairs.

Amazing hotel for retreat.
The best service. High quality design hotel and spa area. Tasty and amazing breakfast with a quality range of products. 2 Michelin restaurants.
Very long wait for dinner in the main restaurant (1,5 hour). It was rather slippery shower tray in the room for my husband.

Lovely for a short get away
Beautifully decorated and luxurious hotel. The staff were great and the room was spacious. The hotel is nicely located on a park so it’s great to have a long walk before the using the spa and then dinner.
The bathroom had a glass dividing wall and the glass door didn’t even stay closed (so it’s not ideal for people who don’t know each other well!) The bistro was pleasant but expensive for what we had. We ordered 2 espressos and were charged €19.

Exceptional
We celebrated my partners 50th birthday, hotel rooms, spa and cleanness were perfect!
In the evening we had diner in the brasserie, staff was very stressed but food was amazing!!
